D.H. Bharat Sevasram Sangha Pranab Vidyapith (H.S) was founded by Srimat Swami Yoganandaji Maharaj with the high ideals of Acharya Srimat Swami Pranabananda in mind. It is a day-shift, higher secondary, boys school, recognised by WBBSE and WBCHSE and aided by the Government of West Bengal. At present the roll strength of the school is 1000. It has been one of the most prestigious academic institutions of Diamond Harbour, South 24 Pgs since 1963.

WHAT WE DO

The Bharat Sevasram Sangha is a spiritual brotherhood of monks and selfless workers devoted to the service of humanity. It was founded in 1917 by the illustrious patriot saint Acharya Srimat Swami Pranabanandaji Maharaj. It is purely a philanthropic and charitable organisation with non-sectarian, non–communal and non-political character and outlook.

  • It aims at helping the distressed, nursing the sick, feeding the hungry and clothing the naked. It has always pioneered the holy task of giving necessary relief to the afflicted people during natural calamities.
  • It maintains, administers and assists free educational and medical institutions and other charitable societies. It considers to foster the moral, spiritual and cultural heritage of India as one of its mission.
  • It also endeavours to provide educational facilities to the suffering humanity in general.
  • Above all, it promotes sympathy, tolerance, good feelings and unity among people of different creeds, so as to evolve a high sense of religious and social goodwill and peaceful co–existence.

OUR VALUES

The school aims to create, assist, preach and foster the spiritual, cultural, moral heritage of India. The school believes in the Vedantic chant – “Sa vidya ya vimuktaye”. It is our realization that the all-round development of man through ideal education will surely pave the way for emancipation of soul. It has been producing scholarly students as well as ideal citizens in greater national interest for years.
